Christopher Barr is an Irish artist and educator based in Belfast/Dublin. His photographic work has been exhibited widely in galleries, public spaces and festivals, Dali Photofestival, China, Aleppo Photo Festival Le Pont Gallery, 4th International Photography Festival (Representing Ireland), Pingyao Photofestival, China, Backlight Festival Finland, University of California Irvine USA, University of Namibia, Baylor University USA, Gallery of Photography Dublin, Belfast School of Art, Void Gallery/Mark Wallinger, Derry, Belfast Exposed.
He has designed education and mentorship programmes, facilitated workshops, and given lectures for The National Museums, Ulster Design Festival, Culture Night, Belfast Exposed Gallery, Belfast Studio Workshops and community photography projects across Ireland.

Christopher has taught part time on courses at Ulster University, Fashion & Textiles, 3D Design, Architecture, MFA Design, Part Time Lecturer, Foundation Photography, Visual Communication. Belfast Exposed Levels 1-4, Belfast Exposed Futures Mentoring Program, Belfast Photo Workshops.
Christopher is currently co- directing the documentary Hidden.
His work around the passing of his father is now being used in teaching in third-level education in Ireland/Canada/USA/England.
